AI Consulting

Your business is ready for AI. Most businesses just don't know where to start.

I work directly with business owners and leadership teams to cut through the noise — identify where AI actually creates value in your business, and build a practical roadmap to get there. No jargon, no hype, no vendor agenda.

Who this is for

  • You've heard about AI but don't know where it fits You know competitors are using it but haven't found a clear starting point.
  • You've tried AI tools and been disappointed ChatGPT didn't transform your business. The tools weren't the problem — the strategy was.
  • You want a second opinion before investing A vendor is pitching you AI. You want an independent view on whether it's worth it.

What I offer.

Four consulting services, each designed for a different stage of the AI journey. All delivered directly by me — not passed to a junior consultant.

Strategy

AI Readiness Audit

A structured review of your business operations, tech stack, and team capabilities to identify where AI and automation create the most value — and where it doesn't.

Delivered as a prioritised roadmap with effort estimates and expected ROI for each opportunity. Most clients use this to build their internal business case.

Advisory

Fractional AI Director

Ongoing strategic AI leadership for businesses that aren't ready to hire a full-time Head of AI but need someone who knows what they're doing in the room.

I work alongside your leadership team on a part-time basis — attending key meetings, evaluating tools and vendors, guiding AI initiatives, and keeping your strategy grounded in what actually works.

Training

Team AI Training

Half-day or full-day workshops for your team — from "what is AI and how does it actually work" to hands-on sessions with the tools your team will use day-to-day.

Tailored to your industry and the specific tools you use. The goal is confidence, not a certificate — your team should leave able to do something useful immediately.

Evaluation

Vendor & Tool Review

A vendor is pitching you AI software. A tool looks promising but you're not sure it's worth the cost. I give you an independent, technical assessment before you commit.

I have no vendor relationships and no referral fees. You get a straight answer on whether the tool does what it claims and whether it's the right fit for your business.

Businesses I've helped.

Consulting clients tend to fall into one of four categories.

Construction & trades Estimating, scheduling, document management, and client communications — all areas where AI delivers fast ROI.
Manufacturing Quality control, procurement, production planning, and compliance documentation.
Recruitment & staffing CV screening, candidate outreach, client reporting, and placement tracking.
Professional services Proposal generation, research, client onboarding, and internal knowledge management.

How a consulting engagement works.

Simple process, no commitment until you're ready.

1. Discovery call (free) 30 minutes. You tell me about your business and what you're trying to achieve. I tell you honestly whether I can help and what it would look like.
2. Scoping I send a short proposal outlining what we'll cover, how long it will take, and a fixed price. No hourly rates.
3. Delivery Depending on the engagement, this is one to four sessions — in person or remote. You get a written output: roadmap, review, or training materials.
4. Follow-on (optional) If it makes sense, we continue as a retainer. If not, you leave with everything you need to move forward independently.
Not sure if consulting or automation is right for you? Most clients start with a consulting audit — it identifies the highest-value automation to build next. Book a call and we'll figure it out together →
